Job Description:

Synergy Empowering Recovery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in connecting individuals, families, and communities with our life-changing addiction treatment services. As an Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for building meaningful relationships, promoting our services, and ensuring compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations.

This is a remote position with travel required to attend events, meet referral partners, and represent Synergy Empowering Recovery across the nation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, counselors, social workers, and other referral partners.

  • Represent Synergy Empowering Recovery at health fairs, conferences, community events, and professional networking opportunities.

• Client Outreach:

  • Act as the first point of contact for individuals seeking addiction treatment, providing compassionate and professional guidance.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions for clients into appropriate programs while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• Education and Awareness:

  • Educate healthcare providers and community organizations about Synergy’s detox and recovery services.

  • Organize workshops, webinars, and presentations to raise awareness about addiction recovery and available resources.

• Referral Network Development:

  • Develop and expand a national network of trusted referral sources.

  • Maintain clear communication with referral partners to streamline client onboarding and follow-up processes.

• Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure all outreach activities align with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards.

  • Act with integrity and professionalism when representing the organization in sensitive environments.

• Tracking and Reporting:

  • Keep accurate records of outreach activities, client engagements, and referral outcomes.

  • Provide detailed reports and insights to the management team to inform strategic decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in outreach, sales, community engagement, or healthcare (experience in addiction recovery or social services preferred).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and relationship building.

• Knowledge of addiction recovery processes, detox programs, and related resources is a plus.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance requirements.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.
